A lot of our friends are away from home and struggle with deciding what meals to cook every day. After a hard week at work or college, all they want to do on the weekends is Netflix and order in. Their visit to the grocery store almost always lands up in picking up what’s right in front of them & coming home only to call us with “I have broccoli, tomato, onion, parsley, chicken… What do I make?”.
So, to help our friends plan their week ahead, we decide to create a meal plan for them!
What is a meal plan?
A meal plan is a brief little schedule to outline your meals for a set period of time, in our case a week. Now, this not only includes groceries and recipes but also the entire preparation schedule right from soaking grain to refrigerating produce. Pre-planning will not only help you get organized but will also give you a healthier way of getting through the week. Also, we make sure we try out every singles recipe and every part of the meal plan before posting it, so be rest assured, it totally works.
To make it easy, we have broken down our meal plan into :
– Menu: Recipes that we recommend you try for at least one week. They are easy to make and way healthier than eating out all the time. Also, we will be giving you one meal plan a month!
– Grocery List: A list of all the poultry, produce, dairy & more required for the meals. All you have to do is save the list we provide you with, go to the store and just tick the ingredients off the list as you buy them!
– Schedule: We have divided the preparation time for each dish across the week. So you can marinate meat on one day, chop vegetables on another, keep to set desserts on another and this will make sure that there is absolutely no strain on you to rush through any recipe!

We always hear that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but with our crazy schedules, we tend to almost always miss it! So we called up Chef Nayantara and asked her for something interesting. ( 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆, 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒇𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚 ).
She gave us the recipe for Breakfast Cups, both vegetarian & non-vegetarian, which we would make on the weekend & freeze. On the weekdays, all we would have to do is defrost, heat and eat while walking out the door! Now ain’t that brilliant? They are also perfect for afternoon hunger pangs!
