We have noted down our top hangover cures, tried and tested, that will definitely get you back to party mode in no time!
1. Drink lots of water
Our first cure is to DRINK LOTS OF WATER. We know, we know, it’s very cliché but it works wonders if you keep yourself hydrated as much as possible.
We always try to drink one glass of water with every drink, especially wine… Wine hangovers are MASSIVE.

2. Ginger Tea
Had too much at the Par-TEA? All you need is a garam chai ki pyaali… Thoda adrak maarke.
Ginger soothes the gut and will help calm your nausea & dizziness. Tea will help flush out the toxins from your body as tea is a diuretic.
Most effective? As soon as you wake up!
3. Pizza, Bread or Greasy Food
For us it is almost always pizza time… Just the thought of sinking our teeth into a delicious, cheesy, gooey pizza gets us excited!… And what better way to get over a hangover than devouring a Pizza.
Bread is another drinking buddy you should know about. Having bread while you are binging on happy juice helps soak it up to some extent letting you drink some more! 😉
In case your hangover decides to make you adventurous, you can go for the burgers from Mc Donald’s or even the ginormous Hangover Burger from TGIF.
4. Coconut Water
The water inside coconuts is loaded with antioxidants and electrolytes, key to getting over any hangover. Coconut water not only hydrates your body but also restores a bit of what the alcohol has taken out of the body.
It is also easier to stomach, especially compared to water. We mean, we can have four large glasses of coconut water over four of just plain water any day.
Don’t have time to make a cure? Just pick up a banana!
Bananas contain a lot of potassium, a mineral lost when we drink alcohol and a lack of which contributes to the dehydration symptoms of a hangover.
Pretty simple eh?
5. Bloody Mary (Virgin)
A lot of people decide to go for ‘Utaari’ or ‘Hair of the dog’ as a remedy for a hangover, but when we are nursing a hangover the last thing we want to see is alcohol.
Our recommendation, make a Bloody Mary… virgin of course! The tomato juice & other ingredients help replenish your body with vitamins that have been drained from your night out.
What you need:
– Tomato juice
– Lemon juice.
– Tabasco / Worcestershire sauce
– Stalk of celery (To make it a bit pretty)
